Before running the migration, we need to create Velocity PreSTM engine wherein we generate the velocity storage file with the user defined velocity ranges. The objective of this step is to use this velocity storage file to scan through the correct velocities going into the migration.

 

•Velocity selector - Kirchhoff PreSTM Engine

•PSTM Imaging selector 2D - Velocity/angle/offset

•Kirchhoff PreSTM file in/out - migration

 

The output (storage file) from the Velocity selector - Kirchhoff PreSTM Engine will be the input for PSTM Imaging Selector 2D - Velocity/angle/offset module.
