This is one of the widely used post processing module. This is used to attenuate any incoherent noise by transforming the data from T-X domain to F-X domain where in it predicts the operator.
Module name FX-Decon filter
Horizontal sliding window Number of traces to be included in the horizontal sliding window
Number point for filter design Provide the number of traces to design the predictive operator. This should be less than or equal to the Horizontal sliding window.
Time window Define the time window in which to design the predictive operator.
Return back output % Provide % mix back of original amplitudes after noise attenuation.
In case of 3D data, we should use FXY - Decon filter. In this case, it has an additional section, where the user can define a particular inline/xline to perform the FXY Decon filter operation.
