Amplitudes

The Amplitudes section contains modules for controlling, correcting, and balancing the amplitude response of seismic data. Proper amplitude management is fundamental to reliable seismic interpretation, AVO analysis, and reservoir characterization, ensuring that amplitude variations reflect genuine subsurface geology rather than acquisition or processing artifacts.

These modules are typically applied early in the processing sequence, after initial data conditioning and noise attenuation, and before velocity analysis or imaging. The order in which amplitude corrections are applied can significantly affect the quality of the final result.
