Introduction

Geomage g-Platform™ application designed as a modern, user-friendly and highly interactive software for seismic data processing and imaging. It includes two main working environments: g-Platform and g-Navigator.

g-Platform

g-Platform is the main managing window of the g-Platform™ software suite where user manages project database(s), workflow(s), project data etc.

g-Navigator

g-Navigator is a part of the g-Platform™ software suite. The main purpose of g-Navigator is to simplify the process of testing and evaluating seismic signal processing parameters and results as much as possible and to make the workflow as interactive as possible.

g-Platform™ was launched in 2003 by a small team and has been under continuous development ever since. Geomage has developed proprietary technologies — MultiFocusing (MF) Imaging and Diffraction Imaging (DI) — which are delivered as separate plug-ins and are fully integrated into the g-Platform software suite. The standard package does not include these two modules.

g-Platform™ delivers a complete, industry-proven solution for high-quality seismic processing and advanced time and depth migration:

Reading all supported seismic data types (Seg-Y, Seg-D, Seg-B, Seg-2 etc.)

2D/3D Geometry Aassignment and Binning

QC Tools

Noise Attenuation

Signal Processing Procedures

Multiples Attenuation

Refraction Statics Solutions

Residual and Surface-Consistent Statics Solutions

Velocity Analysis/Refinement Algorithms

Headers Manipulation Tools

Surface Consistent Procedures

3D/5D Regularization and Interpolation

Time/Depth Velocity Model Building and Refinement Approaches
