Vista is one of the core concepts of the g-Platform which is allowable in the Client Manager Area.
A Vista is a graphical object that provides a visual representation of specific properties of a processing module. Vistas may include seismic gathers and sections (volumes), spectra, other physical or abstract seismic data representations, as well as plots, graphs, maps, spreadsheets, and similar visualization types.
Through interaction with a Vista(s), the user can adjust processing parameters, create additional processing items — such as various types of picks (first breaks, muting functions, horizons, velocity laws, etc.) — and evaluate processing results. The evaluation is performed using gather and section views, difference displays, spectra, and other relevant visualization and analysis tools.
A single Vista or a group of Vistas can be opened within a Vista View window.
All Vista Views, depending on the module and the type of representation, have a set of Shortcut Buttons, a predefined set of Main Actions, and personalized View Properties settings.
