General assumptions for workstation are:

Operating system – 64-bit Only

• Windows: 7/8/10
• Linux and MacOS - please contact Geomage for updated status of release for those OS.

CPU

• 1 core minimum. Since g-Space designed to work in multi-thread mode in order to get better performance, it is advised to have as many CPU cores as possible to achieve best performance during calculation processes.

Disk

• SSD storage for seismic prestack data (recommended)
• HDD drive for the rest of the project data

RAM

• 4GB minimum
• the best practice is to have 2 times of loaded seismic data size
