View manager is a panel that allows to add, remove and manage different views in numerous Workspaces (equivalent to different desktops)

Clicking a view or a workspace in the View Manager tree switches the application to the selected workspace. Right-clicking an item only moves the selection to it and opens the context menu for that item, while the workspace you are working in stays active. This lets you rename or remove another workspace or view without leaving your current workspace.

After choosing Remove for an inactive user workspace and confirming, the workspace you are using and its active view stay active. The canvas layout, Visual Settings target, synchronization state, and Data Manager check states remain unchanged. The same applies when removing several selected inactive workspaces with the View Manager toolbar's Remove button.

If you remove the active user workspace, View Manager activates the next remaining user workspace below it, or the nearest user workspace above if none remains below. If no user workspace remains, a predefined workspace becomes active.

Views are displayed as tabs in the workspace area, and the active view is highlighted in blue. The cursor position can be synchronized across views, and each workspace remembers its own view layout.

There are two predefined Workspaces in the View Manager:

Seismic data - this Workspace has all views required for importing 2D and 3D seismic into the project.

Wells data- this Workspace has all views required for importing any well data to the project .

In the View Manager tree, both predefined Workspaces are marked with a lock icon next to their name. Workspaces created by the user are shown without this icon.

The locked predefined workspaces cannot be removed.

User cannot add, change or remove views from those predefined Workspaces.

User can change position and size of any view in those workspaces as well as graphical properties of any Object in those views.

User can change name of any workspace or view (except predefined) by either clicking F2 key or selecting Rename option from the context menu over desired view/workspace
