Seismic bar

Seismic bar allows you to add/delete seismic data sets in the project

lesson01_seismic_bar.png

For information about the process of loading seismic data into the project, refer to chapter Import seismic

The Seismic bar consists of the following sections: Views, Add, Clear, Others, Calculator and Trace header dump.

Views section:

Show_import_seismic_views.PNGOpen predefined seismic data workspace

Add_view.PNGWorkspace: arrow button allows to switch between existing workspaces. Main button of the combobox allows to create a new empty workspace

Add section:

Add dataset.PNGAdd dataset - adding single dataset to the project. After adding data it still have to be reviewed and loaded into the project

Add and load dataset.PNGAdd and load dataset - adding and loading a single seismic dataset to the project. After adding data by that operation, it's ready to be used within the project. It assumes that all data is correct as loaded

Load dataset.PNGLoad dataset - loading a single seismic dataset that was previously added to the list of project's seismic. It assumes that all needed QC was already done

Load all datasets.PNGLoad all datasets -  loading all seismic datasets that was previously added to the list of project's seismic or were changed during QC process. It assumes that all needed QC was already done on all seismic datasets

Clear section:

Clear dataset.PNGClear dataset - remove a single selected seismic dataset from the project. The application does not deletes data from the disk

clearAllDatasets_icon.PNGClear all datasets - remove all seismic datasets from the project. The application does not deletes data from the disk

Others section:

Create seismic group.PNGCreate seismic group

Propagate current shift on whole line.PNGPropagate current shift on whole line

Calculate datum.PNGCalculate datum level

Import_3D_attr_ASCII.pngImport seismic data from ASCII. See more information in Convert ASCII to seismic

Calculator section:

Opens the seismic calculator, used to perform arithmetic operations between seismic datasets and create new calculated volumes.

Trace header dump section:

Reads and exports trace header values from the selected seismic dataset. Set the header Format (for example Int4) and the 1st byte position, then run the dump to inspect the header content. See also Trace headers math.
