Formats

This chapter describes the data formats currently supported by g-Space for import and export, organized by data type.

Seismic Data Formats

  • SEG-Y / SEGY - 2D and 3D, post-stack and pre-stack (import and export)
  • ZGY, GSD, SEG-D, SEG-2, SEG-B, MiniSEED, Seismic Unix, ASCII to seismic (import)
  • GeoTIFF and CPS-3 line (export)

Well Data Formats

  • Well headers, deviation / trajectory, markers, checkshots, comment log
  • LAS (continuous, discrete), DLIS, log text tables; export to LAS / Excel
  • WITSML, PRODML, OSDU, IHS 297, Petrel headers, well raster log images

Horizon Data Formats

  • ASCII, binary archive, Charisma; GOCAD TSurf surfaces

Fault Data Formats

  • Charisma sticks, free sticks (ASCII), binary archive (*.fsurface); GOCAD TSurf

Maps Data Formats

  • XYZ / ASCII, CPS-3, ZMap / ZMap+, IRAP classic grid

Grid Data Formats

  • ECLIPSE / GRDECL corner-point reservoir grids

Model Data Formats

  • GOCAD SGrid / TSolid / Voxet, RESQML EPC, VTK, DXF

GOCAD Data Formats
