Well tie bar provides interface to perform seismic to well tie

Consists of 4 sections: Views, Seismic, Synthetic, Cross-correlation

The Views section opens a predefined set of views arranged for the well tie workflow. See Well tie view.

In Seismic section it is possible to set seismic data for well tie.

Seismic Choose the line which is near by to the well

Seismic group Switch between different versions of loaded data

Nearest seis distance Set searching distance of seismic data around the well

Nearest seis width Set a number of traces in well tie view

In Synthetic seismogram section it is possible to set synthetic parameters:

Create Set inputs: Sonic, Sonic - density, Impedance

Sonic, Density, Impedance Drop down boxes allow you to choose the well logs

Synthetic seis width Set a width in well tie view

Well-tie template Stores all well-tie templates created in g-Space

Wavelet analysis Settings for the wavelet used for well-tie

In Cross-correlation section it is possible to set cross-correlation window parameters:

Start Set start of the analysis interval

End Set end of the analysis interval

Lag Set a width of plot in the cross-correlation view

Save calibrated T-D model

After you edit the checkshot anchors in the Well tie view, the Save calibrated T-D model action becomes available in the view toolbar. It saves the calibrated time-depth model for the selected well, built from the edited anchor positions.

Two LAS curves are written under the corresponding well in the Data Manager and shown in the Well tie view:

  • TWT_calibrated - the calibrated two-way time curve (ms)
  • Vint_calibrated - the calibrated interval velocity curve (m/s)
