Export points

Point sets and cultural points can be exported from g-Space to plain delimited text (CSV / TAB / .txt) for use in external mapping and GIS applications, or for archival.

Purpose

Write a point set out as a text table with X and Y coordinates followed by the point attributes, in a layout that can be re-imported or read by other software.

Launching the export

In the Data manager, right-click the point set (under the Points node) and choose the export command, then pick the output text file.
